We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Travel and tourism company. Experience:
Minimum 7 years of B2B business development experience in the travel and tourism industry.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth in the B2B sector, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking...etc...
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key B2B clients, travel agencies, tour operators, corporate accounts, and other business partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, negotiations, and issue resolution, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment in delivering value to B2B clients.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
• Identify key market segments and potential business opportunities, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
• Build innovative Marketing and business development strategies.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and generate new business leads.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on business development activities and outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the business development function.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of proven success in B2B business development within the travel and tourism industry.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, negotiation techniques, and contract management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Innovative thinking and proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
