OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business developer Manager is accountable for the strategic management and development of clients by identifying opportunities to grow their business. This would include the development and management of client strategies and /or solutions, as well as internal management of business expectations through forecasting against budgeted portfolio targets. This role is required to provide leadership to internal teams within their client portfolio and will need to build strong and trusted relationships with clients at senior manager level.

WHAT IS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANGER DO ?

The purpose of the role is to deliver revenue for the business unit through the management of a high performing team that can build strong client relationships, make a proven difference to the client's business by deliver Media, Creative & Technology solutions that meet their business requirements and goals.

The Business development Manager is accountable for identifying and delivering solutions as well as all client service requirements for existing clients as well as working with all the Incubeta business functions ( Consultancy, Project Management and Operations) to drive shared client centric objectives.

The role will span all facets of Digital Channels and activities including Social, Search, Display, Creative, SEO and Technology etc, across all devices and in various industries.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

•IMPERATIVE •

• 5 -7 years' experience in lead generation
• Business Unit Director experience is essential.
• Experience in working with senior stakeholders and clients across multiple portfolios.
• Experience within a performance agency or media/ technology consultancy.
• Previous Digital marketing experience (Media, Technology, Creative)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent financial acumen.
• Strategic talent management and delegation.
• Apply strategic thinking to guide and develop exceptional briefs.
• Experience with Google Marketing Platform technology

•ADVANTAGE •

• Experience within the Retail and Financial Services sector.
• Knowledge of digital transformation projects
• Experience on Podio, Basecamp and Slack
• CRM experience
• Mobile experience
• Google certifications that are up to date

• Interpersonal Skills - we want someone who can build relationships both internally and externally. As the point of contact between Incubeta team members, client and partners, this person would need to have strong leadership qualities.
• Solutions Driven - we need someone who can think on their feet and come up with quick solutions to everyday problems. They should see all problems as a challenge for them to overcome
• Delivery Accountability on Projects - manages client expectation on quality, cost & timing. The clients in this portfolio have a very strict process in terms of timings and this process has to be managed carefully.
• Financial Acumen - this person must be able to take on full internal and campaign financial ownership. This includes but is not limited to management of invoices, POs, and project budgets including job reconciliations
• Strategic Mindset - these portfolios have a strong focus on media, creative and technology and it is critical to ensure understanding of the client strategy to formulate a solution offering to achieve client's business goals.
