JOB PROFILE
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager with a strong understanding and knowledge of agency operations, preferably in tankers, to join our dynamic team in the shipping industry. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and dynamic, with 10-15 years of proven experience in business development, an extensive network of industry contacts, and a track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and client acquisition.
Deep knowledge for below key points:
Port in/out clearance.
Bunkering Calls.
Vessel and crew husbandry.
Dispatch of Cargo Documents and D/As.
Executive networking in the region.
Immigration and port health formalities.
Bunker, lubes, paints, fresh water and stores supplies.
Local Knowledge on line-ups, special requirements and berthing prospects.
•Key Responsibilities: •
Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth targets and market expansion goals.
Relationship Management : Leverage an extensive network of shipping industry contacts to identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and enhance customer satisfaction. Candidates with their own client base in the shipping industry are preferred.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion. Provide insights to the leadership team for informed decision-making.
Leadership: Lead project initiatives, including negotiations, proposal development, and contract management. Ensure alignment with company goals and compliance with industry regulations.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure cohesive execution of business strategies.
Networking : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and establish new contacts.
Reporting : Track, analyse, and report on sales metrics and business development activities. Provide regular updates to senior management on performance against targets.
•Qualifications: •
Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in business development within the shipping industry, with a strong understanding of agency operations (preferably tankers) and an established network of industry contacts.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Languages : Arabic speaking is an added advantage but not required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in CRM software and business analytics tools.
•Knowledge: •
In-depth understanding of the shipping industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements in UAE ports(must) , and competitive landscape.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
