All our employees enjoy access to dynamic career opportunities across different fields and industries.Join us and Make an Impact.The Purpose of the RoleThe Business Development Manager / Demand Generation Professional will be responsible for driving strategy execution and revenue of the assigned territory (primarily but not limited to UAE and Qatar) by enhancing customers knowledge and acceptance of Honeywell Security offerings and products.They will be responsible to work closely with the End users, channel partners and other project stakeholders as necessary to drive demand to the channel partners.The person will perform their work by coordinating with a team of BA professionals, such as marketing, tech support, and sales to develop and execute a customer-centric strategic plan to drive sales across the region.Responsibilities:
Identify strategic areas for growth and develop plans to maximize additional sales from these opportunities
Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement customer offering business/sales plans, drive adoption and achieve sales targets
Understand the organizational and operational challenges of businesses in key customer segments to develop value propositions and drive adoption of Honeywell solutions.
Early engagement with all stakeholders of a project including the end user, consultant, and contractor to specify and drive Honeywell preference by developing clear value propositions and track all these activities in Salesforce to create and handover clear and qualified opportunity pipeline to Sales teams.
Design systems in projects and specify Hon products depending on the customer and project requirements
Create BOQs, research market competitors, deep knowledge of product portfolios, benchmarking, creating technical vertical write up materials, being in field as BD visiting consultants, helping them with products selection on daily basis
Support Business Managers with closing key opportunities using technical, product, commercial and market knowledge to support
Responsible for UAE and Qatar regions. Travel will be required as necessary.
Organize, support and participate in product/brand events.
Work closely with technical/R&D teams to ensure product/brand meets local market requirements and ensure there are no gaps in the product portfolio to serve the assigned territory
Main KPIs:
Sales AOP Target Achievement and Performance against sales growth and profit margin targets
The BDM will be responsible to generate an opportunities pipeline and hand over to the sales manager to convert to revenue
Development and execution of in country growth strategies
Enhanced customer and end user relationships with frequent visits and engagement
We Value:The successful candidate needs to have Physical Security industry experience & a strong technical knowledge of the product/brand to enable them to drive growth. The candidate will be a self-starter, able to work with a diverse and widely located team globally. He/she will be results driven and a strategic thinker with a keen eye for details. This person will be accountable for driving growth. He/she must be credible and be able to operate at a senior level.
Bachelors degree in Engineering - Masters degree would be a plus
Strong technical and sales background in Security Systems such as Video Surveillance, Access control, Intrusion, IT hardware, etc
This is a Techno - commercial role, requires a person with a strong technical background and commercial mindset to develop strong technical proposals that can meet the customer budgets
Must have at least 5years of Sales and or Business Development experience
Fluency in English, Arabic would be an advantage
The individual must have a passion for working with diverse end customers and channel sales
Confident with the ability to successfully develop key relationships across key accounts with management level executives
Proven track record and an excellent understanding of the Security marketplace, local regulations (SIRA, MCC, MOI etc) and competitive product offerings
Have a proven track record of selling into the end user market by promoting our product offerings with specifiers
Ability to influence people and win project sales
Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the business needs of Manufacturers, Distributors, System integrators and other routes to market.
Must be flexible to travel extensively
Experience in product management working with remote teams for product development, engineering, supply chain, RnD, and management to drive and manage regional and customer needs
