Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing and implementing client retention strategies, identifying new market opportunities, acquiring new clients, and supporting the expansion of our business through innovative initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Revenue Growth:
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Identify new sales opportunities and follow through to achieve successful closure.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
• Client Retention Strategies:
• Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow existing client relationships.
• Conduct regular client reviews to understand their needs and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Address client concerns and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Market Strategy and New Client Acquisition:
• Conduct market research to identify new market opportunities and potential clients.
• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players and potential clients.
• Business Expansion Initiatives:
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and initiatives to support business growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and launch new products or services.
• Develop business plans and proposals to present to senior management.
• Strategic Planning:
• Contribute to the development of the company's long-term strategic goals.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
• Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Oil and gas experience is preferred
• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
