Our business development sales team is dedicated to cultivating and executing a strategic approach to acquiring new customers within the energy, petrochemical and fertilizer industries.About the RoleThe MEA Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new business by selling ICIS solutions to prospects within an assigned territory. You will plan, organize, and execute sales campaigns with the emphasis on new business acquisition.You\'ll Be Responsible For:
Prospecting and having client effective conversations, this will include LinkedIn posts and LinkedIn engagement with potential customers.
Handling inbound leads with a consultative sales approach. Identifying challenges and problems your prospects are trying to solve.
Planning, organizing and executing sales campaigns to acquire target prospective customers, with the assistance of your manager.
Managing the full sales cycle in a consultative sales approach utilizing value-based selling conversations.
Working closely with other departments like marketing, legal, product, and senior leadership. Managing the entire customer onboarding experience, sales cycle, and delivery of ICIS solutions ensuring an excellent customer journey.
Requirements
Must have 3 to 5 years sales experience, with strong preference for candidates who have an understanding of the MEA Energy, Chemicals and Sustainability landscape.
Have demonstrable sales habits that have led to prior success. Full sales-cycle for new logos experience is a plus.
Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent presentation skills. Strong preference for a second language such as Arabic or French.
Able to achieve professional goals and be open to sales coaching.
Possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, competitiveness, and a desire to positively impact the business.
