As a result we are now looking for a Business Development Manager- Industrial for our Dubai Business Intelligence sales team.The Business Development Manager will join our high performing New Business sales team, selling subscription services to the full portfolio of GlobalDatas and MEEDs two Intelligence Center (IC) online platforms to Construction and Industrial firms.The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Head of New Business, to identify, plan, target and engage the best business opportunities in the sector, to develop into new business and cross sell clients that will drive the growth of this dynamic division.You will be responsible for the full sales and relationship life cycle including:
Building and executing territory plans, white space analysis and identifying the key stakeholders and personas in each organisation to sell to
Achieving daily and weekly Prospecting KPIs including Lead Sourcing, Cold Calls, Email Marketing and tailored pitches to key decision makers of new logo and existing client accounts to create value on how GlobalDatas/MEEDs Intelligence will help them
Booking online Demonstrations of the platform, and presenting the use case, USPs and value of the IC to specific Personas and teams
Writing tailored Business Cases and Proposals which demonstrate the value and ROI to win contracts with these accounts
Creating urgency and closing new business multi-year deals to achieve monthly sales targets set
Pro-actively learning online and in person the features and benefits of GlobalDatas/MEEDs range of cross-sector and Industry specific Intelligence platforms
Cross-Selling additional GlobalData ICs to existing clients and institutions
Managing a sales pipeline with 5-7 times coverage and tracking key activity and next steps in Salesforce.com CRM
This is a 100% new business role and you will need to demonstrate a successful track record of new business B2B sales. Experience selling either Business Intelligence or to the Management Consulting or Indusctrial sector is preferred but not a must. You will be expected to be highly motivated, articulate, have strong business acumen to interpret complex data into commercial value to different types of business personas and persistent enough to generate pipeline deals to achieve your monthly and quarterly sales targets, whilst managing your prospecting activity to maintain robust sales pipelines.You will be provided with a world class sales training program, ongoing sales coaching, product training, and clearly defined territory to join the existing hybrid sales team, based in our London Blackfriars office at least 4 days per week and 1 days WFH.
