The Facilities Management Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the facilities management industry. This role will involve driving growth by targeting new clients, expanding the existing customer base, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services tailored to client needs. The role requires a deep understanding of the facilities management sector, excellent communication skills, and a strategic approach to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development & Sales:
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for facilities management services.
• Develop and implement strategies to secure new clients and retain existing customers.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential partnerships.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of business opportunities and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Negotiate and close contracts with potential clients while ensuring favorable terms for the company.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Establish strong and lasting relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
• Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure that customer expectations are met.
• Provide ongoing support and communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Proposal & Bid Management:
• Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals and bids for potential clients.
• Oversee the preparation of presentations, RFQs (Requests for Quotations), and tenders for facilities management services.
• Ensure that all proposals are competitive, aligned with client expectations, and meet company standards.
• Market Expansion:
• Explore new market segments and regions to expand the company's facilities management services.
• Actively attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build the company's presence in the market.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, innovations, and regulatory changes that could impact the company's offerings.
• Collaboration with Operations:
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth project delivery and service execution.
• Provide input on service delivery models based on client feedback and market demands.
• Assist in the coordination of service transitions from sales to operations, ensuring a seamless handover and client satisfaction.
• Reporting & Forecasting:
• Prepare and present regular business development reports to senior management.
• Track sales performance, provide forecasts, and suggest strategies to improve revenue growth.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, health, and safety regulations in all proposals and projects.
• Identify potential risks in new business opportunities and collaborate with the legal team to mitigate them.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent business qualification (preferred).
• Experience:
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in business development within the facilities management, property management, or related services industry.
• Strong track record of securing new business and managing client relationships.
• Experience in preparing and managing bids and proposals.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable business strategies.
• Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of facilities management industry standards and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
