ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for prospecting and acquiring business from the hospitality sector. This role requires a winning spirit, proactive initiative, and excellence in execution. The candidate will engage with top management, build a robust network, and promote Sapaad's unique offerings. Leveraging various strategies, including outbound calls, social media connections, and networking events, the candidate will build a strong pipeline and achieve business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prospecting and Business Acquisition:
• Identify and target hospitality companies, hospitality consultants, restaurant consultants, hospitality investment groups, large brands with many outlets, and restaurant brands with high business volumes.
• Engage with top management of restaurant brands and build contacts at multiple levels.
• Monitor activities of brands with franchises and track outspoken F&B brand heads.
2. Business Engagement:
• Make outbound calls and establish connections with senior F&B personnel via LinkedIn and other sources.
• Develop a strategy and execution plan for each account, focusing on building a robust pipeline.
3. Market Analysis and Strategy:
• Study existing POS systems and develop counter strategies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities.
4. Networking and Events:
• Attend and participate in major food and horeca events.
• Organize and lead demos, webinars, seminars, and other promotional activities.
• Utilize food bloggers and influencers to spread positive messaging about Sapaad.
5. Product Knowledge and Promotion:
• Gain a thorough understanding of Sapaad's philosophy, unique selling points by product and module.
• Leverage existing customer base and utilize content and academy videos to promote Sapaad.
• Clearly articulate why Sapaad is the best product in the market.
6. Weekly Review Meetings:
Conduct weekly review meetings focusing on:
• Account details
• Deal size
• Opportunities
• Competition
• Contact level
• Challenges
• Deal status
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in business development, preferably within the hospitality or Food and Beverage (F&B) sector.
• Strong understanding of the hospitality market and POS systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with top management and key stakeholders.
• Proactive, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license.
