Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics sector.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
• Research market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Work closely with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales and Negotiation:
• Develop proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies for prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements.
Operational Coordination:
• Work with logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
• Monitor service delivery and address any issues to maintain client satisfaction.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular sales and performance reports.
• Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and drive continuous growth.
• Provide insights and feedback to senior management for strategic planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and market trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Experience with international logistics and supply chain solutions.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation.
