Job Title: Business Development Manager (Delivery Services Company)
Job Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for a delivery services company is responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer base. This role involves market research, sales strategy development, and relationship management, with a focus on increasing revenue and ensuring the delivery services company remains competitive in the market. The BDM will work closely with both internal teams and external clients to meet company goals and expand the company's reach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Opportunity Identification :
o Identify and develop new business opportunities within the delivery and logistics industry.
o Research and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to discover untapped market segments or niche services.
o Monitor industry developments to spot opportunities for expansion or diversification of services (e.g., specialized deliveries, tech-enabled solutions).
2. Sales Strategy Development :
o Create and implement sales strategies to target and secure new clients and contracts.

3. Client Relationship Management :

4. Partnerships and Networking :

6. Contract Negotiation and Closing :

o Work closely with legal and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of signed agreements.
7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration :

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience : 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the logistics, delivery, transportation, or supply chain industries.
• Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of the delivery services and logistics sector, including customer needs, regulatory requirements, and technological trends.
• Sales Skills : Proven experience in B2B sales, with the ability to close deals, negotiate contracts, and meet sales targets.
