Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive company growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives
Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through various channels
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and strategic partners
Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Maintain accurate records of all business development activities and opportunities in CRM
Represent the company at industry events and conferences
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of proven experience in business development or similar role
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and growing business relationships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals
Experience with CRM systems and sales tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel as needed (approximately 75%)
