As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding our business and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and creating innovative holiday and travel packages from scratch. Your knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, combined with your strategic thinking and excellent communication skills, will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the travel and tourism sector.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth targets.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for expansion.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
• Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Product Development:
• Create and design unique holiday packages and travel itineraries from scratch.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote new travel packages and services.
• Monitor and evaluate the success of travel packages and make necessary adjustments to improve client experiences.
Sales and Marketing:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its services.
Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage budgets for travel packages and business development initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability of travel packages.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and partners to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Team Leadership:
• Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Conduct training and development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the travel and tourism industry.
• Proven track record of creating and managing successful holiday packages and travel itineraries.
• Strong knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, including market trends and competitor analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
