:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth in the UAE region. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, pursue, and secure EPC projects for ground-mounted and rooftop solar installations from PSU, consumer, and industrial clients.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy Development : Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities. Develop strategic plans to penetrate the market and achieve sales targets.
Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with PSU, consumer, and industrial clients. Understand their needs, preferences, and procurement processes to effectively position our solutions.
Lead Generation and Conversion : Generate leads through various channels such as networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-up and effective negotiation.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to develop customized proposals and solutions that meet client requirements. Present proposals to clients and address any concerns or objections to secure project contracts.
Project Coordination: Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth execution and delivery of EPC projects. Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that may arise during project implementation.
Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments related to solar energy and EPC projects. Use this information to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven track record of 8-10 years in business development, sales, or project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Experience in selling ground-mounted and rooftop EPC projects to PSU, consumer, and industrial clients.
Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, project development process, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel as needed.
