Collect market/competitor information and keep abreast of Oil and Gas industry and commercial activities.
Study data of Government and industry expansion / investment plans to determine prospective customers in the UAE and GCC Region.
Assist in formulating and planning yearly Business Development budget and sales calendar.
Generate reports on competition and conduct SWOT analysis of company & its competitors to leverage the Companys competitive advantage to stay ahead of present and potential competition in the industry.
Conduct research on industry opportunities & emerging trends to provide expert advice on future business prospects and areas that the Company must focus on.
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with top clients, competitors, consultants, and official decision makers.
Conduct meetings / tour of COMPANY facilities for potential clients and other stakeholders.
Meet subordinates and colleagues for daily, weekly, and monthly reviews.
Coordinate and review work with Business Analysts to ensure timely achievement of set objectives. Plan, coordinate and allocate resources to subordinates.
Attend EPC Conferences / industry exhibitions to network with Clients and other stakeholders.
Provide inputs to the development of the business plan for the Department.
Knowledge:
Knowledgeable of financial/legal/commercial/contractual aspects & terminology used in the context of EPC industry.
In-depth knowledge of the business, operating environment, and challenges of the EPC industry.
Skills:
Good written and verbal language skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is of added value.
Good oratorical, communication, and presentation skills.
Good negotiation skills.
Good networking and interpersonal skills.
