Role Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business growth in the UAE. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong engineering background, particularly in Building Automation, IoT, and Smart City applications. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive network within the UAE, coupled with exceptional business acumen to identify and convert new opportunities, foster long-term relationships, and support our ambitious growth goals in smart city and building automation sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the fields of Building Automation, IoT, and Smart City applications.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, nurturing potential clients and moving prospects through the sales cycle.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including developers, and key decision-makers in government and commercial sector.
• Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to refine strategies for customer engagement and product positioning.
• Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and customer expectations.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and bids that effectively communicate our value propositions and meet client needs.
• Negotiate contract terms, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction during and after project execution.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); advanced degree or certification in Business or Engineering is a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within Building Automation, IoT, or Smart City sectors.
• Extensive network and established relationships within the UAE market, particularly with stakeholders in infrastructure and technology fields.
• Strong knowledge of the local market landscape, regulations, and cultural dynamics.
• Proven track record in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• UAE driving license is mandatory.

• Familiarity with industry standards and protocols in Building Automation and IoT.
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify trends, create innovative solutions, and position offerings competitively.
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
