A prominent financial services advisory firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to focus on expanding their presence within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in banking, possess excellent networking skills.Key Responsibilities:
Channel Development: Develop distribution channels through companies with retail distribution or banks catering to both retail and institutional asset managers for securitization.
Relationship Enhancement: Strengthen relationships to support the allocation process, focusing on intermediary/sponsor banks.
Market Intelligence: Provide market data and maintain a keen awareness of financial industry developments.
Networking: Source and attend appropriate networking events and facilitate key introductions.
Banking Coordination: Handle and coordinate banking matters efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience of a minimum of 4 to 7 years with strong business development capabilities, particularly in the area of securitization.
Well-connected within the finance sector, able to leverage relationships to support business growth and securitization efforts.
Ability to build relationships with influential individuals who can assist with businesses going public, securing better IPO allocations.
Bilingual candidates in English and Arabic are preferred for this role.
