Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for our Apparel division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development within the apparel industry. This role will focus on driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and establishing long-term partnerships. The Business Development Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Strategy & Development:
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the apparel industry, including partnerships, new markets, and product innovations.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company's market presence.
• Research industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, suppliers, distributors, and partners.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to ensure profitable and sustainable relationships.
• Sales & Revenue Growth:
• Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create campaigns that resonate with potential clients and customers.
• Market Expansion:
• Expand the company's footprint in existing and new markets.
• Identify potential distribution channels and sales platforms (both online and offline).
• Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure scalability and efficiency in market penetration.
• Collaboration & Teamwork:
• Collaborate with the product development and design teams to align new collections with market demands and opportunities.
• Provide market insights to internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and product development.
• Work alongside the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and brand positioning.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape for senior leadership.
• Analyze performance metrics and customer feedback to continuously improve business development strategies.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
• Experience:
• 10 years of experience in business development within the apparel or fashion industry.
• Proven track record of driving business growth, managing large accounts, and achieving sales targets.
• Must have private label brand across the trade sector in the western region (UAE).
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of the apparel industry, market trends, and consumer behavior.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent language skills in Arabic + Bilingual.
