Job Summary:


The Sales Freight Forwarding Executive will be responsible for generating and managing sales within the freight forwarding sector in Abu Dhabi. This role involves promoting and selling air, sea, and land freight forwarding services to existing and new clients, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting the growth of the company's logistics business. The position requires a combination of strong sales skills, logistics knowledge, and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales and Business Development:

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the air, sea, and land freight forwarding sectors. Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business. Generate leads, conduct sales meetings, and present tailored freight solutions to prospective clients. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the management.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including shippers, importers, and exporters. Understand client needs and provide customized freight forwarding solutions. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities. Stay updated on the latest developments in the logistics and freight forwarding industries to better meet client needs.

Quotation and Proposal Preparation:

Prepare competitive pricing, quotations, and proposals based on client specifications and requirements. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Coordination and Operations Support:

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments, from booking to final delivery. Track shipments and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Address operational challenges as they arise and communicate with clients about any delays or issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, customer records, and other documentation required for business operations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for international and domestic shipments.

Industry Networking:

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and partners. Build a strong professional network within the logistics and freight forwarding sector

Experience:



Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales within the logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping industry. Proven track record in air, sea, and land freight forwarding sales is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding processes.

Skills:



Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Knowledge of freight forwarding software and systems is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
