We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth for our contracting company. The ideal candidate will actively pursue new local client registrations, manage online supplier registrations on various portals, and proactively follow up on client inquiries. In this role, you will be rewarded with additional commission on every project awarded from clients you introduce to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
Identify and target new local clients to expand our contracting portfolio.
Develop strategies to approach potential clients and secure their interest in our services.
Online Registration:
Complete supplier registration on relevant online portals and platforms to increase company visibility.
Ensure that all registrations are accurate, current, and optimized for lead generation.
Client Engagement:
Initiate calls and follow up with prospective clients regarding inquiries and potential projects.
Maintain ongoing communication to nurture relationships and convert inquiries into active projects.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.
Work closely with the project and operations teams to ensure seamless transition and delivery for awarded projects.
Sales and Commission:
Act as a key driver for sales growth by securing projects from newly registered clients.
Claim additional commission on each project awarded to clients you have successfully registered, incentivizing high performance and continuous client engagement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably within the contracting or construction industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with online supplier registration processes and relevant industry portals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
