Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with 5-10 years of experience in the interior fit-out sector in Abu Dhabi to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing strategic business plans, and managing key client relationships. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who is capable of preparing, presenting, and following up on comprehensive business plans to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.

A competitive salary and commission structure will be offered to the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development & Lead Generation:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the interior fit-out sector, including commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, designers, contractors, developers, and facility managers.
• Network within industry events, conferences, and other relevant platforms to increase the company's visibility and capture leads.
• Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and business diversification.
• Strategic Planning & Execution:
• Prepare and present comprehensive business plans that outline strategies for business growth, client acquisition, and market penetration.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
• Analyze sales data and trends to adjust the business development strategy as needed.
• Work closely with senior management to establish goals and measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
• Sales and Proposal Management:
• Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and presentations tailored to client requirements in the interior fit-out sector.
• Collaborate with the project management and design teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs and project specifications.
• Develop pricing strategies, negotiate terms and contracts, and close deals with clients.
• Follow up on submitted proposals, track leads, and manage client communications throughout the sales cycle.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing regular updates and ensuring expectations are met.
• Address client queries and concerns, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
• Manage post-sales activities, including project handovers, feedback collection, and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
• Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences in the interior fit-out sector.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and adapt strategies to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Regularly evaluate the company's position in the market and recommend strategies to improve its competitive advantage.
• Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports, outlining key achievements, challenges, and forecasts.
• Track sales performance and develop strategies to meet KPIs and revenue targets.
• Provide detailed feedback and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth.
• Team Collaboration & Leadership:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that promotional activities, branding, and client outreach align with business development goals.
• Provide guidance and support to junior business development team members as required.
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, project management, and procurement) to ensure that client projects are executed to high standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:
• 5-10 years of business development experience in the interior fit-out sector within the UAE, particularly in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven track record in sales management , client acquisition , and project delivery in the interior fit-out or construction industry.
• Education:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Architecture , Interior Design , Civil Engineering , or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Skills & Expertise:
• Strong understanding of the interior fit-out industry, including market trends, client requirements, and key players.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to prepare and present detailed business plans and sales strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Knowledge of tendering and contract negotiation processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Language Skills:
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Other Requirements:
• Valid UAE driving license is essential for regular client meetings, site visits, and networking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
