Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Business Development team as a Business Development Intern in the Food and Beverage sector. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the industry, possess strong data entry skills, and be eager to contribute to the growth of our sales efforts through effective lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

• Utilise various channels, including online research, social media, and industry databases, to identify potential leads within the Food and Beverage sector.
• Collaborate with marketing to leverage inbound leads and inquiries.
• Investigate and explore new avenues for lead generation within the industry.

Data Entry and Management:

• Accurately input and maintain lead information in the CRM system.
• Regularly update and cleanse the lead database to ensure data integrity.

Industry Knowledge:

• Stay informed about the latest trends, developments, and key players in the Food and Beverage industry.
• Translate industry knowledge into effective lead generation strategies.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales team to align lead generation efforts with overall business goals.
• Provide insights and feedback on lead quality and market trends.

Reporting:

• Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: Entry-level position; prior experience in lead generation or a related field is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of trends and dynamics in the Food and Beverage industry.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
