We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in water supply projects, specifically in Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) operation and maintenance, to join our team in UAE, Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful business development within the water industry in the UAE, with at least 10-12 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful business development within the water industry in the UAE, with at least 10-12 years of relevant experience. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth in the water supply sector. Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities in the water supply sector, with a focus on WTP and STP operation and maintenance projects in UAE, Dubai.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand our presence and market share in the water industry, leveraging existing relationships and establishing new partnerships.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, utilities, contractors, consultants, and developers, to understand their needs and position our company as a preferred partner.
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tender documents for water supply projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to develop innovative solutions and deliver value-added services to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments related to water treatment and supply, and incorporate relevant insights into business development strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance our visibility and reputation in the market.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master\'s degree or professional certifications in water management or business development are a plus.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or project management within the water supply industry, with a focus on WTP and STP operation and maintenance projects in UAE, Dubai.
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements, with hands-on experience in project execution and operations.
- Proven track record of successfully securing and executing water supply projects, including WTP and STP operation and maintenance contracts, in the UAE market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for managing leads, opportunities, and client relationships.
- UAE driving license and willingness to travel within UAE, as needed.
