Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Executive
to drive office furniture sales beyond the showroom, targeting businesses, corporate offices, and project-based clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in
showroom sales
with proven experience in
outside sales
. Additionally, candidates with
eCommerce experience
will have a competitive advantage in reaching digital-savvy customers and exploring new online sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Proactively identify and engage potential clients outside the showroom, including corporate offices, designers, contractors, and facility managers.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Lead Generation:
Research, network, and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, visits, referrals, and digital outreach.
Consultative Selling:
Understand client needs, recommend suitable furniture solutions, and provide tailored proposals to close deals.
E-commerce & Digital Sales:
Leverage online platforms and digital marketing strategies to drive additional sales and expand customer reach.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to refine sales strategies.
Sales Targets & Reporting:
Achieve and exceed sales targets, providing regular reports and insights to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum
3-5 years of showroom sales experience
, preferably in office furniture or interior design.
Experience in outside sales/business development
is essential.
Added advantage for candidates with
eCommerce experience
in furniture, retail, or related fields.
Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, meet targets, and drive sales.
Tech-savvy with knowledge of online sales strategies and CRM systems.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
