The Business Development Executive - IT will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships with clients in the technology sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of IT services, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct comprehensive research to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities within the IT industry.
• Analyze competitor offerings and market dynamics to inform strategic planning.
• Lead Generation:
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and participation in industry events and conferences.
• Utilize digital marketing strategies and social media to expand the client base.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Understand client needs and tailor IT solutions to meet their specific requirements.
• Sales Strategy Development:
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that resonate with target clients.
• Negotiation and Closing:
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
• Close sales and achieve or exceed individual and team targets consistently.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams:
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure client requirements are fully understood and met.
• Provide feedback to product development teams regarding client needs and market demands.
• Reporting and Metrics:
• Track sales metrics, client interactions, and market insights using CRM tools.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance and business development activities for management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT sector (2+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of IT services, software solutions, and technology trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
