Business Development Executive
to join our dynamic team. In this
target-oriented role
, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our agency by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring our products and services consistently exceed client expectations.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a proven track record in business development within the advertising and branding industry.
Advertising agency experience is mandatory
, as you will need to deeply understand the nuances of the industry to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
Procure new clients through direct outreach, networking, word-of-mouth referrals, and collaboration with the marketing team.
Market Research:
Identify and research opportunities in new and existing markets to uncover potential business growth areas.
Client Retention:
Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
Upselling:
Suggest upgrades, additional products, or services that align with clients' needs and goals.
Pitching:
Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to potential clients, showcasing our agency's capabilities and value proposition.
Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Client Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions.
Networking:
Build and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients through regular engagement.
Outbound Campaigns:
Run outbound sales campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to generate new sales opportunities.
CRM Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client activities and interactions in the CRM system.
Proposal Development:
Develop and present customized proposals that address each client's specific business needs.
Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service by conducting regular follow-ups and addressing client concerns promptly.
Decision-Maker Engagement:
Develop rapport with key decision-makers to secure new business opportunities.
Contract Negotiation:
Translate proposals into ready-to-sign contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly communicated and agreed upon.
Sales Lifecycle Management:
Own the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract implementation.
Meeting Management:
Manage and conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings with potential and existing clients.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience as a
Business Development Executive
or in a similar role, with
mandatory experience in an advertising or branding agency
.
Minimum of
3 years of experience
in the advertising or branding industry.
Intuitive and insightful, with a strong understanding of human behavior and client needs.
Ability to generate revenue by identifying client pain points and recommending suitable products or services.
Professional yet approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong networking abilities and a knack for building relationships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Resourceful, with outstanding research and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
Proven ability to meet and exceed
sales targets
in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
