Come, join us on this journey!BAT UAE IS LOOKING FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVELOCATION: Dubai, UAEFUNCTION: MarketingROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES.The key objective of this role is to maintain an accurate retail census through field research, analysing trade metrics for strategic insights, managing the TM&D system, and ensuring timely tracking and reporting of trade programs and budgets. It directly feeds into decision-making and operational efficiency by generating relevant insights. It fosters collaboration with internal stakeholders to align trade priorities/activities and contributes to optimized trade coverage.WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
  • Support Business Development Manager on a fit for purpose Route To Market model across Gulf markets through driving retail census in collaboration with End Markets.
  • Analyse and report on trade metrics (invoicing frequency, SKU invoicing, time & motion, Stock in Transits) and share key action points for Market Managers.
  • Manage TM&D systems (onboarding and ensuring fit for purpose customization by market).
  • Drive regular analysis on Trade Marketing Representative/Merchandiser performance, stock availability, date code reports, generating insights and interventions as required.
  • Manage trade activities budget - ensuring purchase orders are raised ahead of activity, tracking the spend and posting invoices in a timely manner.
  • Manage trade activities through regular analysis of trade programs and activities (performance of activity & impact on sales) to drive actionable outcomes where necessary.
  • Ensure Procurement processes and protocols adhered to: Sourcing, contract creation & vendor onboarding on system.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • 2-3 years' experience within Trade Marketing in an FMCG.
  • Proven track record of working in a cross-functional environment, particularly within trade, as well as managing trade metrics, analysis, and reporting in an FMCG environment.
  • Ability to analyse trade metrics and program performance data to identify trends and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations for market managers to support decision-making and improve trade outcomes.
  • Ability to support the development of proposals and presentations by compiling relevant information.
  • Experience in trade program management, with a focus on delivering key trade activities, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing ideas and supporting colleagues.
