The Business Development Coordinator will support the Business Development Manager in expanding the company\'s market presence and driving growth.
This role involves conducting market research, generating leads, preparing proposals, maintaining client relationships, and assisting with various sales and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities: * Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Analyse data and provide insights to inform business development strategies.
Lead Generation and Qualification:
Identify and qualify potential leads through research, networking, and outreach.
Maintain and update a database of contacts and prospects.
Proposal and Presentation Development:
Assist in preparing and submitting proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.
Ensure that all documents are accurate, well-organized, and tailored to the client\'s needs.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and provide timely, effective responses.
Sales Support:
Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and tracking sales activities.
Coordinate follow-up activities to ensure leads are nurtured through the sales pipeline.
Event Coordination:
Organize and coordinate events, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
Ensure all event logistics are managed efficiently and effectively.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure cohesive business development efforts.
Communicate regularly with the Business Development Manager to provide updates and receive guidance.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain organised records of all business development activities and documents.
Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by the Business Development Manager.
Qualifications:Education and Certification
Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Knowledge and Skills
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Experience
2-3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, business development, sales support, or a related role
