We are looking for a Business Controller for Middle East who will support general management in making effective business decisions with good understanding of sector dynamics.
Main tasks and responsibilities:

Developing a sound internal control environment in order to protect company assets and ensure compliance of financial reporting and accounting matters with "The Epiroc Way" and local legal accounting practices. Company internal audits are within the responsibility of this position, as well as establishing prokura with respect to legal entity level approvals and and authorizations for transactions.
Secure accounting practices and reporting with high quality by close collaboration with the Regional Center of Excellence, according to the local/country regulations and requirements. Ensuring that Epiroc processes are implemented as per "The Epiroc Way", and actively collaborate with the Finance Team for developing and implementing standard Group processes and systems.
Providing assistance and co-pilot the General Manager with tools and analysis for trends and company/business line performance. Acting as a critical partner and consultant of Business Line Managers to help them improve their business and profitability.
Taking active part in business activities and contributing to growing the business in line with strategies and objectives. Communicating with Business Line Managers regarding relevant issues, establishing collaborative relations, and providing extra support necessary to resolve problems and improve processes with team spirit,
Developing and supporting company planning processes according to strategies for company divisions, and conduct good cost planning and control
In case "red flags" pose a risk on sound work principles, escalating these "red flags" to the management by ensuring that action plans are followed. Assisting in coordination and communication with respect to governance issues
Reporting to the legal entity the equities and taxes, fixed assets, pension plans and other annual statements, as well as insureance terms for the legal entity.
Providing assistance with respect to requirements of the Legal Committee, and coordinating conditions for external audits of the legal entity,
Handling cash and asset management by proactively managing credit control, collection and customer financing. Handling finance, management of and providing IT guidance to internal and external service providers (e.g. Consultants); Ensuring that all services are of high quality and up-to-date. Managing, in the best possible way, the financial and non-financial items for operational assets owned by the legal entity in the best way,

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the field of Management, Economics, Finance & Accounting. Have CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a strong asset
Preferably, experience in a similar position at a multinational company,
The position will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Good knowledge of ERP and MS Office applications, and good command of IFRS and legislation
Strong communication and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and delegate is key.
Fluency in English (written and spoken),
