Our client, a University, are seeking a Business Continuity Senior Specialist. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the resilience and continuity of institutional research activities, data management, and analytical processes. The role is crucial in ensuring data continuity, and minimizing disruptions that could impact decision- making and planning within the higher education institution. To be shortlisted, you must have worked within a University.Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager to develop and implement comprehensive business continuity plans for institutional research functions.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to integrate business continuity plans into the overall institutional strategy.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments related to institutional research activities.
• Identify potential disruptions and vulnerabilities in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes and analyze possible impact of disruptions.
• Ensure the security and privacy of institutional research data during normal operations and in contingency situations.
• Implement measures to protect sensitive information and comply with relevant data protection regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business continuity plans, procedures, and contact information.
• Establish communication protocols to ensure seamless information flow during disruptions.
• Implement secure backup and recovery solutions for research databases and analytical tools.
• Stay abreast of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to institutional research.
• Ensure that business continuity plans align with regulatory requirements.
• Optimize resource allocation to ensure the cost-effective implementation of business continuity measures.
• Ensure adherence to the University\'s information security policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly.
• Ensure coordination with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or any other relevant discipline.
• Relevant Experience within a university setting
