All about the role:



The Financial Analyst supports the MENCA Business Controller in all financial and business reporting ensuring integrity and accuracy.


This role participates in the Consolidation and analysis of UAE Direct business results, month end closing process, forecast and budget development and making sure proper internal controls are in place and insightful analysis performed on the business performances.


Participate in financial and management reporting improvement projects. Support the commercial and management team with insights, business analysis and recommendations. Coordinate UAE Direct Budget and forecasting activity between regional Sales, operations and controlling teams. UAE Direct Sales forecasting consolidation supporting the Weekly beat activities. Pricing and G2N Controlling AE13. SFC & Mktg Expense Controlling AE13

What you'll do:

• Prepare analysis of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end reporting for UAE Direct Finance and Sales Operations & Logistics functions.

Participate in the preparation of the monthly forecast, strategic plan and annual budget for UAE Direct Finance and Sales Operations & Logistics functions.
• Preparation of UAE Direct consolidated Group Reporting Packs monthly and analyze key numbers provided for accuracy.
• Perform P&L month end closing activities for the UAE Direct consolidation and reconciliation of UAE Direct Management reporting to Financial Reporting

Support Product line financial analysis and reporting
• Key aspect of the role is to develop the existing processes and controls further and embed them within the Finance and Sales Operations & Logistics team across UAE Direct.
• Assist the MENCA Business Controller with key task for the implementation of any new tools and system, assist in data management and improving data accuracy
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting when required
• Management of contractual incentives and G2N management and reporting
• Pricing and cost analysis, impact on price, mix and volumes
• Profitability analysis on customer, product and/or projects
• Closing the Gap" activities regarding the business financial targets - analysis of the causes and making proposals
• Logistics and Warranty Expense Controlling
• SFC & Mktg Expense Controlling

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Excel expert, previous experience with SAP R3 / BPC / AARO / TM1

Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Engineering with previous experiences in similar role
• Commercially astute with ability and desire to understand the business
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Confident and able communicator who can work independently
• Enthusiastic and proactive to take on challenges to further professional development
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Must be culturally aware and have excellent people skills to succeed in this challenging role.
• Must be comfortable analyzing and interpreting complex data and drawing logical conclusions.
• Must be able to prioritize work appropriately, recognizing the relative importance of tasks in light of conflicting commercial and operational activities
