About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to work on digital transformation projects for tax authorities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax processes and regulations, combined with expertise in analyzing and optimizing tax-related business processes through digital solutions. You will work closely with our clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and implement digital solutions that enhance efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with tax authorities and client leadership to understand and define digital transformation requirements for tax-related projects.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization through digital solutions.
• Develop functional specifications and business requirements documents tailored to digital implementations.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions.
• Provide expert advice on digital best practices for tax authority processes and compliance.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution to ensure digital system stability and performance.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for clients and internal teams on tax-related digital functionalities and processes.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including digital functional specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Stay updated with the latest tax regulations, digital industry trends, and best practices.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
Professional Skill Requirements:
• Experience between 8 and 12 years in business analysis with a focus on digital transformation projects for tax authority work.
• Experience in public sector digital projects, particularly with tax authorities.
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving digital environment.
• Ability to transform business requirements into digital solutions based on different SAP modules or other relevant technologies.
• Desire to work in an information systems environment.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in IT business analysis for tax-related digital transformation projects in large organizations.
• Strong understanding of tax processes, regulations, and digital systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple digital projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
• Experience with SAP Tax and Revenue Management (T&RM) and SAP for Public Sector Collection and Disbursement (PSCD) is desirable.
• Certification in business analysis or relevant SAP modules is a plus.
