Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Building and Fit-Out Estimator to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction and fit-out projects, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring competitive pricing. The role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for building and fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.

BOQ Preparation: Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and specifications.

Tendering & Bidding: Review tender documents, prepare competitive bids, and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.

Project Analysis: Evaluate project scope, timelines, and budget constraints to ensure feasibility.

Material & Supplier Coordination: Source quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing to optimize project costs.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and suggest cost-effective solutions.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records of cost estimates, supplier quotations, and project financials for future reference.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost control.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an estimator in construction, fit-out, or interior works, preferably in the UAE.

Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Primavera, and estimation software.

Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations, material costs, and supplier networks.

Communication: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with luxury fit-outs, retail spaces, or commercial buildings.

Knowledge of local Dubai authorities' approval processes.
