Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bridge Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in bridge and roadway design and construction. The successful candidate will contribute to designing, analyzing, and managing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Analysis:
• Perform structural analysis and design for bridges, rehabilitations, and associated infrastructure.
• Develop engineering drawings, calculations, and reports, including roadwork-related details.
• Ensure designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Project Support:
• Assist in managing bridge and road construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance during construction.
• Documentation and Review:
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications and cost estimates.
• Support the team by contributing to the preparation of tender and construction documents.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical and roadway engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.
• Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bridge and road design and construction.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, MIDAS, or equivalent).
• Proficient in roadwork and civil design software, such as:
• AutoCAD Civil 3D (road alignment, grading, and drainage design).
• MicroStation (roadway design and detailed drafting).
• InfraWorks (conceptual road and bridge design).
• HEC-RAS (for hydraulic design, if applicable).
• Familiarity with design codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocode, or local regulations).
• Other Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED102,417.00 - AED109,155.00 per year
