Job Title: Branding Applicator

Job Summary:

The Branding Applicator is responsible for applying branding marks, logos, or symbols to various products, materials, or livestock to signify ownership, identity, or authenticity. This may involve using heat, ink, embossing, or other branding tools to ensure the brand is clearly and consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Application:

Apply branding marks using various tools (e.g., hot stamps, branding irons, embossers) to products, packaging, or livestock. Ensure that the branding is clear, accurate, and meets company standards.

Equipment Maintenance:

Operate and maintain branding equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and calibrated correctly. Report any equipment malfunctions or needed repairs.

Quality Control:

Inspect the final product or livestock after branding to ensure quality and accuracy. Identify and correct any branding errors or defects in a timely manner.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment when handling hot tools or machinery. Follow all regulatory and industry-specific guidelines for branding processes.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of products or animals branded, including time, date, and batch numbers for traceability.

Collaborative Support:

Work with production teams or ranch managers to schedule and plan branding activities. Assist in inventory management of branding materials and tools.

Customer Service:

In some industries, may interact with customers or vendors to ensure their branding needs are met.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills

: Experience operating and maintaining branding tools (e.g., hot irons, embossing tools).

Attention to Detail

: Ability to apply brands accurately and ensure quality standards are met.

Physical Stamina

: Ability to perform manual labor, including standing for long periods and handling tools.

Safety Knowledge

: Understanding of safety protocols when working with hot equipment or heavy machinery.
