The RoleMission:Your mission is to achieve and strive for excellence in the service operations resulting in highest levels of customer satisfaction, which in turn shall lead to sustainable profitable growth for CTS and all other divisions in CT. This position reports to the CTS operations manager.
Oversee the daily operations of a team of experienced field service engineers by providing leadership, development, coaching support resulting in a motivated team
Plan and manage the daily workload of the Service Technicians and provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
Oversee and improve the operational efficiency by managing costs vs service revenue
Strengthen customer relations by making routine visits to resolve issues and make appropriate recommendations
Visit customers by recommending, making aware of the different service products which shall / could generate leads for parts plans, service plans, Airnet, or training
Identify competence gaps and plan for FSE development plan with HR
Effectively communicate with technical support, sales/marketing in CTS and equipment divisions (sales and BLM) and the customer
Take timely action which is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees/divisions considered. Communicate with the Service Coordinators to deal with scheduling issues
Follow up closely separately breakdown jobs vs fix price and service contracts to ensure appropriate priorities are given to the various type of service jobs and urgency
Attend WIP (work-in-process) meetings and provide updates on jobs with issues and those that are plus 90
Coordinate and lead regular meetings with your team
Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for the team by ensuring last minute risk assessment is conducted by all field service engineers, safety reporting using TIA app regularly and analyse and recommend course of actions of any safety reports. Ensure PPE for all personnel is updated
Arrange safety training for Service Technicians as mandated by regulatory agencies and customers
Maintain documentation/certification records relevant to safety training
Ensure that the field service engineers have the appropriate tools, any calibration to be updated
Identify and take active role in the recruitment process and provide orientation/training for new employees
Work closely with the operations manager to ensure that the operational KPIs are met
Any Adhoc projects/tasks

Valid driver's license
Experience in Operations Management is a plus
Customer service-related experience, ability and maturity to handle difficult customer situations professionally

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong positive attitude for learning new processes, systems and applications
Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment
Good people management skills & and a passion for service
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in technical/business administration or similar experience
Strong technical background is an asset
