Boiler Operator
Job Description
Our company is looking for an experienced Boiler Operator to join our facilities maintenance team. We will consider applicants with limited experience if you have completed a training program and are familiar with boiler systems, repair, and maintenance. The primary responsibilities of this role include preventative maintenance and water treatment, but you may also perform pipe repairs, so welding experience or skills are beneficial. All applicants must be licensed. Boiler Operator Duties and Responsibilities Operate and maintain high and low-pressure boilers Perform compression and safety tests Water sampling and treatment Preventative maintenance Perform minor pipe repairs Replace worn parts, including valves and filters Boiler Operator Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Completion of an apprenticeship or training program Boiler Operator license Welding experience a plus Driver's license and reliable transportation
