Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and professional Boat Captain to operate and manage yachts and standard boats. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience navigating various vessels, ensuring passenger safety, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Vessel Operation

• Safely navigate and operate yachts and boats during private charters, tours, and other trips.
• Plan routes and voyages, taking into account weather, tides, and navigational hazards.
• Ensure timely arrival and departure as per schedules or itineraries.

Safety and Compliance

• Conduct pre-departure safety briefings and enforce safety protocols for passengers and crew.
• Ensure compliance with local maritime laws, including UAE-specific regulations.
• Perform regular safety drills and emergency procedure reviews.

Crew and Guest Management

• Supervise crew members to ensure efficient operations and teamwork.
• Provide outstanding customer service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Address passenger inquiries and resolve issues professionally.

Maintenance and Inspection

• Conduct regular inspections of vessels to ensure seaworthiness and functionality.
• Oversee routine maintenance, cleaning, and repair activities.
• Coordinate with service providers for technical repairs and upkeep.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate logs of voyages, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
• Report incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly to management.

Event Participation

• Participate in events, tours, and other company-organized activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience operating yachts and standard boats.

Licensing:

Valid UAE boat captain's license (or equivalent), with endorsements for operating yachts and small boats.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of UAE maritime regulations, local weather patterns, and navigational routes.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using navigation equipment (GPS, radar, etc.).
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Languages:

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
