Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural models and drawings using Revit software, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate structural design elements into architectural and MEP models, ensuring coordination and clash detection.
• Utilize BIM tools and workflows to optimize structural designs for efficiency, constructability, and sustainability.
• Assist in the creation of parametric families, templates, and standards to streamline modeling processes and improve project efficiency.
• Conduct model reviews and perform clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts between disciplines.
• Generate quantity take-offs, schedules, and other project documentation from BIM models.
• Support the coordination and communication of BIM-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software developments, and best practices in BIM and structural engineering.
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM workflows, techniques, and software tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with a focus on BIM and Revit.
• Proficiency in Revit software and strong understanding of BIM principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to structural engineering.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Own valid visa/work permit to work in [UAE].

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
