Job Description

BIM Modeler- Architecture

• Develop, manage, and update 3D BIM models using software like Revit and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure coordinated and clash-free models.
• Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models.
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards, templates, and workflows for the team.
• Conduct clash detection, model audits, and quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure all models align with project specifications, deadlines, and BIM execution plans (BEP).
• Work with the design team to resolve issues related to model accuracy and constructability.
• Prepare as-built models, providing support through the construction and handover stages.
• Support project teams with model-based data extraction for quantity takeoffs, material estimations, and design reviews.
• Stay updated on BIM technologies and trends to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools; experience in AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a BIM Modeler in an architectural firm or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards
• Knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and architectural detailing
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and meet deadlines
