Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Management:

Lead the BIM process from project inception through to completion, ensuring that BIM is integrated effectively into project workflows and processes. Develop and implement BIM execution plans, workflows, and protocols in line with industry best practices and company standards. Manage the creation, modification, and coordination of digital models, including architectural, structural, and MEP models. Ensure that all BIM deliverables meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead a team of BIM coordinators and modellers to support the execution of BIM on various construction projects. Coordinate between architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and exchange of information within the BIM platform. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior BIM team members and other project staff.

Collaboration with Project Teams:

Work closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to align project goals and ensure BIM is used effectively for project coordination, clash detection, and resolution. Facilitate and lead BIM coordination meetings and workshops with internal and external teams. Drive collaboration among the project stakeholders, ensuring BIM models are fully integrated and aligned with the project requirements.

Software & Technology Management:

Manage the selection and management of BIM-related software and technologies for the company (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.). Stay updated with the latest developments in BIM tools, technologies, and processes, and ensure their effective application on projects. Ensure proper data management practices are followed, including model versions, updates, and documentation.

Project Delivery & Performance Monitoring:

Monitor the progress of BIM on projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met in line with the project schedule. Prepare and deliver regular reports to management, highlighting the status of BIM-related tasks and addressing any challenges or issues. Ensure that the integration of BIM contributes to cost savings, efficiency improvements, and effective project delivery.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Support project managers and senior leadership in presenting BIM strategies, capabilities, and deliverables to clients and stakeholders. Provide expertise on BIM for client meetings, explaining the benefits of BIM to stakeholders and ensuring client satisfaction with the BIM process.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. BIM-related certifications (e.g., Autodesk Revit Professional, BIM Manager, or similar) are preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM management, with a strong background in architectural design, construction, or engineering. At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within BIM. Proven experience in large-scale, complex construction projects, preferably in the UAE or Middle East region.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
