Job Summary:

The BIM Manager will lead the implementation and coordination of Building Information

Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows across Conin's diverse portfolio of architectural and

engineering projects. This role focuses on enhancing collaboration, optimizing design and

construction processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with Conin's

vision of excellence and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Leadership and Implementation:

? Develop, implement, and maintain project?specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in line with

industry standards and client requirements.

? Establish and enforce company?wide BIM standards, workflows, and protocols.

? Drive BIM innovation and ensure alignment with Conin's commitment to sustainability and

design excellence.

2. Project Coordination and Collaboration:

? Facilitate coordination between multidisciplinary teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of

BIM deliverables.

? Oversee the development and integration of federated models to resolve clashes and optimize

project workflows.

? Act as a key liaison between clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless

collaboration.

3. Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC):

? Conduct regular reviews and audits of BIM models to ensure compliance with Conin's standards

and project requirements.

? Implement robust quality control processes to maintain the integrity and accuracy of project

data.

? Ensure the delivery of high?quality BIM outputs, including LOD 500 as?built models for facility

management.

4. Data Management and Technology:

? Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure secure and structured data sharing.

? Oversee the use of BIM software tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) and ensure

compatibility across platforms.

? Standardize file naming conventions, data formats, and workflows to improve efficiency and

accessibility.

5. Training and Mentorship:

? Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM tools and best practices.

? Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in digital construction

methodologies.

? Mentor junior team members to develop internal BIM capabilities.

6. Sustainability and Innovation:

? Leverage BIM to support sustainable design initiatives, including energy analysis and lifecycle

assessments.

? Explore advanced BIM applications, such as 5D cost estimation, 6D sustainability analysis, and

virtual/augmented reality for client presentations.

Requirements

Education:

? Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

? Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in BIM or Digital Construction is a plus.

Experience:

? Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Building Information Modeling, with at least 3

years in a BIM management or leadership role.

? Proven track record of managing BIM processes on medium to large-scale projects in the

UAE.

Technical Skills:

? Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.

? Familiarity with CDE platforms such as BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.

? Strong knowledge of industry standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192) and local regulations (Dubai

Municipality BIM Standards).

Soft Skills:

? Strong leadership, organizational, and problem?solving abilities.

? Excellent communication skills for client and team collaboration.

? A proactive and innovative approach to technology and project management.

Certifications:

? BIM Management certifications (e.g., RICS, Autodesk Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
