Job Description

• BIM Strategy & Implementation:

Lead the planning, implementation, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across the project lifecycle. Develop and execute the BIM strategy in line with project requirements and organizational goals.

• Collaboration & Coordination:

Act as a key liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration through the use of BIM technologies. Ensure accurate information flow and integration across all project teams.

• BIM Execution & Standards:

Develop and maintain project-specific BIM execution plans, adhering to international standards and local regulations. Ensure compliance with BIM standards (ISO 19650, BS 1192, etc.), and lead the development of best practices within the organization.

• Team Leadership & Training:

Supervise and mentor BIM teams, ensuring proper training and development of team members. Lead BIM workshops and provide ongoing guidance on software tools and methodologies. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Software & Technology Management:

Oversee the use of BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and ensure the team has the necessary tools and resources. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve BIM capabilities and project outcomes.

• Quality Control & Model Review:

Review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Conduct regular model audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with project specifications. Proactively identify and resolve any BIM-related issues.

• Cost & Time Management:

Contribute to project planning and scheduling by leveraging BIM for accurate cost estimation, resource planning, and timely project delivery. Monitor project timelines and manage risks through BIM-driven insights.

• Stakeholder Communication:

Regularly communicate project progress, issues, and opportunities to key stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and consultants.
