BIM Engineer (MEP - Infra)

P arsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Engineer (MEP - Infra) to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for creating and managing mechanical BIM models and producing accurate and high-quality construction documentation.


What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models using Revit software.
• Develop and maintain the design analysis with mechanical analytical software such as HAP.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.
• Create accurate and detailed construction documentation for mechanical systems.
• Perform clash detection analysis and provide solutions to mitigate conflicts.
• Review and coordinate design changes with project managers and other engineers.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, as well as local and national codes and regulations.
• Participate in design meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
• Research and implement new technologies and techniques to improve project efficiency and quality.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to design managers.
• Provide training and support to junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance project outcomes and team performance.
• Act as a mentor and role model to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

What Required Skills You'll Bring: :

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications:


• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering . This will provide you with the foundational knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the mechanical engineering / construction field field and 3 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling and documentation are required.
• Experience in BIM Authoring MEP, Pumping Stations, a working knowledge of BIM/CAD.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork, Project Wise, ACC software is required. We rely heavily on these tools to complete our work, so it is essential that the candidate have a deep understanding of them.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important. The candidate will be working closely with other members of the team, as well as clients and other stakeholders, so the ability to communicate effectively is critical.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important
