Join us. :The CAD/BIM Operator will work closely with the ECD Masterplanning and design team to assist and support in developing and producing designs for the project site to ensure designs are developed and implemented to approved codes and standards.Works under general supervision performing advanced technical work utilizing a wide variety of resources, including computers. Responsible for an infrastructure project. May train and supervise workflow. Undertakes and manages allocated CAD production and other technical work tasks to agreed deadlines, and standards (industry & project), and in accordance with the project plan
Develop 2D & 3D drawings and provide support as required
Execution of audit checks on CAD drawings and BIM models
Assist in the preparation of appropriate graphic presentations using recognised presentation software such as powerpoint, indesign, photoshop etc.
Developing and utilising CD/BIM software templates for models and drawings
Preparing and reviewing CAD/BIM software QA/QC Rule sets
Attending project level CAD/BIM meetings where required.
Supporting Project Leads and Design Managers
Use of CAD tools to support the creation of 2D & 3D drawings, models and other associated outputs.
Monitor and support CAD/BIM implementation on project level in accordance with programme CAD/BIM Standards.
Support development of project specific CAD/BIM PMP\'s
Development of programme software templates
Assist in the QA/QC reviews of CAD/BIM deliverables including COBie and IFC data.
Create concept and detailed drawings using appropriate artistic and graphic skills and converting these into technical drawings where appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Geography, Civil & Survey Engineering, Geomatics Engineering or related curriculum (or equivalent) and typically 6+ years of related experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM and GIS engineering roles.
Proficiency in BIM Software: Mastery of BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk MAP,
Bentley MicroStation, Infraworks, is essential for creating and managing building models
Strong command of GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS,
Autodesk Autocad, Revit / Navisworks experience
