We are looking for a BIM/ CAD Assistant for our Dubai office to join our technical team in assisting with Schematic, Detailed Design and IFC packages. The ideal candidate will have experience in the lighting or Electrical industry.

Job tasks:

? Proficient in using BIM and CAD authoring tools to provide technical support required to the Lighting project team.

? Manage and maintain project content specific to lighting and source any additional content as required.

? Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams.

? Communicate effectively with other disciplines and offer cross-team support.

? Model management administration and maintenance - including clash detection.

? Manage and coordinate sensitive and confidential information.

? Utilise plug-ins to undertake necessary lighting related work

? Issue typical lighting layouts for on a project to project basis in both Autocad and BIM.

? Issue typical detail installation drawings for RCP/Sections and coordinated drawings

? To assist the design team in preparation of full submittals.

? To ensure all work is saved and confidentiality on all projects is maintained.

? Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Power Point

? AutoCAD (Proficient/Fluent leading to an Expert level)

? Revit (Proficient/Fluent leading to an Expert level)

? Navisworks (Proficient/Fluent leading to an Expert level)

? BIM 360 or Collaborate Pro (Proficient/Fluent leading to an Expert Level)

? Enscape (Advantage)

? Dialux Evo (Advantage )

? 3D Studio Max ( Advantage)

? Lumion (Advantage)

? Adobe Photoshop (Advantage)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Revit: 1 year (Required)
• CAD: 1 year (Required)
• Lighting Design: 1 year (Preferred)
