We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Assistant to join our growing team at IIQAF. As a Billing Assistant, you will be responsible for handling various billing tasks and ensuring accuracy in the billing process. Your main responsibilities will include generating invoices, reconciling accounts, and communicating with clients to resolve any billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
. Generate and process invoices for clients accurately and in a timely manner
. Assist in maintaining accurate records and reconciling accounts
. Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues raised by clients
. Update and maintain client billing information in our database
. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper billing and collection procedures are followed
. Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service to answer billing-related inquiries and resolve any concerns
. Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely payments
. Prepare and distribute monthly reports on billing activities
. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiencies
Requirements
. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
. 1-2 years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in a professional services or finance industry
. Strong knowledge of billing software and financial systems
. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
. Familiarity with billing laws and regulations is a plus
. Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service
. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively
