Claims Management:
Prepare and submit insurance claims to insurance carriers and follow up on claim status. Ensure claims are processed and paid in a timely manner.
Billing Support:
Assist with the preparation of accurate billing for services provided, ensuring that all necessary documentation is included for insurance reimbursement.
Insurance Inquiries:
Respond to patient and insurance provider inquiries regarding insurance benefits, claims status, and other related matters. Provide clear explanations of insurance policies, benefits, and coverage limitations.
Record Keeping:
Maintain organized records of insurance documentation, claims, and communication. Ensure that all information is confidential and complies with industry regulations.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in billing, claims, or payments. Work with insurance companies to resolve any denied or unpaid claims.
Communication with Providers:
Coordinate with healthcare providers, brokers, and insurance companies to ensure proper billing codes, procedures, and accurate information are in place.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay up to date with the latest insurance regulations, policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and practices.
Reporting:
Generate reports as needed related to insurance claims, payments, denials, and outstanding issues. Provide regular updates to management on the status of claims and any unresolved matters.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of [2-3] years of experience in insurance coordination, billing, or related administrative roles. Experience in healthcare or a similar industry is preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of insurance policies, billing, and claims processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Proficiency with insurance software, billing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
