Job Title: Bike Rider

Position Overview:

As a Bike Rider, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely delivering goods or providing services via bicycle. Your role involves navigating through designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and upholding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Execution:

Safely operate a bicycle to deliver goods or provide services to designated locations. Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and routes. Handle packages or items with care to prevent damage during transportation. Verify the accuracy of deliveries by matching them with orders. Collect payments, if required, and issue receipts.
2. Safety and Compliance:

Follow traffic laws and regulations while riding. Wear appropriate safety gear such as helmets, reflective vests, and gloves. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the bicycle. Report any accidents, injuries, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authorities or supervisors. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any delays. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously. Represent the company positively through interactions with customers.
4. Maintenance and Reporting:

Perform basic maintenance tasks on the bicycle, such as tire inflation and chain lubrication. Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed for the bicycle to supervisors. Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents encountered during the delivery process.
5. Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other team members, such as dispatchers or fellow riders, to ensure efficient delivery operations. Assist colleagues during peak periods or when additional support is needed.
Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a bike rider or delivery person is preferred. Excellent biking skills and knowledge of local streets and routes. Strong customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights. Basic mechanical knowledge for bicycle maintenance. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license or certification, if required by local regulations.
