Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of packages. Verify the accuracy of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or documentation. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks. Communicate effectively with customers and address any inquiries or issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Assist in inventory management and warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous delivery experience is a plus. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks. Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
